Shop Spotlight: Mommy Mailbox

So I am a sucker for ALL monthly subscription boxes.  I have been a member of A Little Bundle for Kennedy for over a year now, since they were a brand new company.  So when I found Mommy Mailbox on Instagram, I just knew I had to check it out.

They were just launching their very first box which shipped out on December 1st and I was so excited that they wanted me to do a review on their FIRST box.

Since having Kennedy, it has all been about her.  My paychecks, my birthday money, etc all go to things for her.  I never do anything special for myself.  So I love that there is now a monthly subscription box focusing on moms.  I know a lot of you feel the same way I do and this is a wonderful treat.

Mommy Mailbox is run by three mamas who have a total of 6 kiddos between them.  They choose monthly curators to help create their wonderful boxes.

When I first started opening the mailing box, I loved how they packaged their box.  The purple ribbon and washi tape was such an adorable touch.

Inside is a card telling you about the monthly curators.  Decembers box was created by Abbey Rodriquez + Haley Kjar.

Inside I found so many wonderful goodies.  I was so excited to start taking photos of this beautiful box.  I never would have imagined that inside would be all these amazing small shops products.  I love finding new shops to spend my money with.  Supporting small business, especially at Christmas time, has always been something I advocate for.

The very first thing I saw and was ecstatic about was the Hello Maypole felt balls.  I have been eyeing these forever and I am so excited to use them as decoration in my home.

Can you say OH my goodness to this amazing infinity scarf! I can't wait to wear it to my holiday festivities we will be going to in the coming weeks.  It is by Greenish and I will for sure be heading to their site to order more.  It is beyond soft and so comfy!

I love necklaces.  I wear a K (for Kennedy) every single day and love having gorgeous jewelry for special nights out with friends and family.  This brass hammered triangle necklace from Make Pie Not War is so cute.  I can't wait to wear it on special occasions.

We all know mamas work hard all day every day taking care of our little babes, so when the time comes we need a little pampering ourselves.  Decembers box came with the most fantastic smelling hand cream.  It's by Salt of the Earth and I LOVE the wooden details on the packaging.  Seriously this smells so heavenly!

The last two items that were included in this box were a beautiful print that fit the theme of this box by Plum Street Prints and some gift tags by Rifle Paper Co, which will come in super handy when I start wrapping Christmas gifts.

Overall, I am extremely happy with my first box from Mommy Mailbox.  I suggest you run and check them out.  Their December box sold out super quickly and the January box is for sale RIGHT now!!!! Head on over to Instagram and follow @mommymailbox.

I loved my box so much that I have decided to gift one of the Glitter {&} Grace readers a box of their very own! Enter by rafflecopter below.

Until next time.

Shop Spotlight: Freshly Picked

So everyone who knows me, knows that I adore Freshly Picked moccs.  Not only are the super stylish but they are the only shoes I have found that stay on Kennedy's feet.

Susan Peterson, the founder and creator of Freshly Picked, started her company with only 200 dollars, after not being able to find cute baby shoes for her kiddos.  When I first found Freshly Picked, it was not a known company but over the past year it has grown so fast, especially after she was featured on the hit TV show, Shark Tank.

The moccs come in size 1 (3.60 inches) all the way to size 10 (7.34 inches).  Kennedy has been wearing a size 2 since she was born.  I always recommend getting a size larger so that the little babes can wear them longer.  With their unique design and the elastic around the ankle they stay on very well (except now Kennedy knows how to pull hers off).  With Kennedy being so small for her age, size 2s are still a tad big on her.  We currently own 12 pairs, a good mix of size 2s and 3s.

They are soft-soled and great for both infants and walkers.  Pediatricians recommend that kiddos wear soft-soled shoes because they are the closest thing to being barefoot.  They are made of real leather and now that Kennedy is crawling and starting to walk I am excited to see how they hold up under more wear and tear.

Freshly Picked has been launching their fall/winter line the past few weeks and if you haven't checked them out you totally should! They have some really great colors.  Our favorite currently is Merci, a great mix between chrome, platinum and white.  If you check out their Facebook page you may just find a giveaway or two happening.

So not only have I teamed up with Freshly Picked, but BabyLit, Pretend With Poppins, Noodles Boutique, and Love and Lullabies have also joined us to bring you a fun little giveaway!  Just enter with the rafflecopter below and good luck!

Until next time,

Shop Spotlight: Tiny Humans, Inc

For this weeks shop spotlight I wanted to feature a fellow babywearing mama who owns Tiny Humans, Inc. I absolutely adore her creative side and I have to say my favorite is the Mad Hatter shirt. I love the hipster take on a classic.

With that being said I've had the pleasure of speaking with Lauren, the founder and creator of Tiny Humans, Inc and I had a blast learning all about her.

She is a sweet mama of 2, Tristan (2.5) and Penelope (8 months) and has been married to her hubby, Alex, for almost 4 years.

I'm super jealous of the fact that they live so close to Orlando. If I lived near there I'd be at Disney all the time!!

I think it's totally funny and awesome that Lauren doesn't think of herself as stylish at all, but she comes up with adorable outfits for her little babes. Since she is a stay at home mom you can find her in yoga pant and a tank top most days.  She is pro breastfeeding and going on 8 months strong with Penelope (she exclusively pumped with Tristan) and is a babywearing, cloth diapering, attachment parenting kind of mama.

My absolute favorite thing that she mentioned was that her kiddos are the best thing she's ever done. How sweet is that?

Lauren has always been a huge shopper so she actually started Tiny Hunans, Inc by taking a rather large leap and jumping straight into the biz. She loved buying leggings, tees and moccs, so when one of the shops she followed did an in-depth look at her shop, she was like "I can do that!" She told me that she had so many ideas running through her head that she wanted on shirts for not only her kids, but for her friends kids.  She decided to do some research and make her ideas come to life.

She chose the name Tiny Humans, Inc because all little babes are tiny humans. Once she opened up shop all her mama friends immediately made purchases and while she knew them, it warmed her heart that they would spend their money on her clothing.

I had to ask her what her favorite thing from her shop was and she said she loved seeing everyone in the Not So Ordinary raglans.  Lauren said "it was a saying I came up with and knew I wanted to have stars incorporated since no star is the same, just as no kid is the same and I thought it was perfect." She worked with graphic designer, Adam from Adonai Design Co, to put this shirt together.

I was curious if there was anything else she wanted to let my readers know and she said that she truly loves seeing customer photos of their kids in her clothing.  "It can be exhausting and discouraging as in any business, but when a customer tags me in their photo, it is just perfect" said Lauren.

I adore this mama and her shop! I can't wait to see where she goes from here and wish her all the success with Tiny Humans, Inc.

You may want to check out her Instagram page (@tinyhumansinc) because she is currently accepting submissions for brand enthusiasts for one mama and some little babes. I for sure entered Kennedy and I and I can only image how tough it would be to pick.

Preorders are open until Sunday and she was so kind to offer the Glitter {&} Grace readers a 25% discount at Tiny Humans, Inc.  Use code "THANKS" at checkout! So hurry before you miss out!!!

Until next time,

Shop Spotlight: Nicolas & Reese

Today my mom and I decided to take Kennedy to her very first pumpkin patch and corn maze.  We had an absolute blast.  It is getting chilly out, so it was the perfect day to put our new Nicolas & Reese pixie bonnet to good use.

This bonnet is the cutest thing ever.  Not only is it soft but it is totally handmade with love.  We adore it and not to mention it looks super adorable on Kennedy (I might be partial though).

We went to the Mayse's Farmers Market, where they have a pumpkin patch, corn maze and other fun things for kiddos to do.  We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch where we let Kennedy pick her very own pumpkin and she went straight for this huge one, that mommy had to lug around (I'm pretty sure it weighed more than her).

Kennedy also played in some corn and had so much fun scooping it into buckets.  It was a bit cold but when the sun was on us it got hot fast, so thats why she doesn't have a coat on in every pic.

I wish I would have found Nicolas & Reese when Kennedy was a newborn because she makes the cutest newborn photography accessories.  She makes everything from bonnet sets, crowns and other adorable crocheted items.

Cynthia is the creator of all these handmade goodies. She is a work at home mom with three little boys, Anton (5 years), Luka (3 years) and Matej (1.5 years).  She has been married to her hubby Bill for going on 6 years and can't imagine her life any differently.

I had a blast learning about how Cynthia got her start, which was after her girlfriend started a newborn photography business.  She was asked to make some hats and thats how Nicolas & Reese was born.

I asked the tough question on what her favorite think to make was and she told me that all newborn items make her melt, but her absolute favorite is her hobby horses.  Which allows her to be original and put all of her creativity to use.  I am swooning over these hobby horses and need to get one for Kennedy.  Watch for a new line of horses to launch in November (just in time for Christmas).

Cynthia was so kind to offer my readers a discount code to her Etsy shop, Nicolas & Reese.  Enter code "glitterandgrace14" at check out to save 15% off your order.  Run, don't walk this offer expires on 10/31.  And don't forget to follow her over on Instagram @nicolasandreese.

Until next time.
